May Happenings
We had our last wives’ Bible study this evening (April 14th). We all enjoyed the “Love Dare” book. We are looking forward to sharing a meal as couples on Tuesday, May 5th. It will be a pitch-in for all those ladies and their husbands who attended the study.
We are also having a Child Training Seminar on Saturday, May 9th from 9-12 noon. It is for moms of little ones (ages 4 and under). All are welcome. Brunch will be included. RSVP to Ginger (gkosobucki@sbcglobal.net).
Grandmother’s Valentine Luncheon
In early February, we had a lovely gathering of the grandmothers from the church (plus a few add-ons b/c of their popularity.) We met at Ginger’s house, and had lunch together. A few of the younger women had the privilege of serving the aged among us, which also meant hearing their stories and life lessons. It was a sweet, precious time with all of them. Wives Study
The wives’ study is in full swing. We are meeting on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8 pm, and are going through the book “Love Dare.” It is a book of 40 devotional readings regarding marriage. It is simple, yet challenging, b/c it encourages practical application.
Christmas Brunch and Bazaar
This year it will be on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 10 AM to 1 PM.
Please join us as we gather for fellowship, food, and fun. We also hope to bless our missionary ladies by praying for them. The bazaar consists of handmade, handcrafted, handpainted, homegrown items from ladies in our fellowship. All proceeds from the bazaar go to our missionary ladies for a special Christmas blessing.
RSVP by November 30th.
Together for Titus 2
We have decided to postpone the Titus 2 meetings for June, and do them at a later date. The Serving Our Sisters Missions conference is June 16-18 at Horizon Northeast, for anyone interested in serving our missionary ladies better. Many missionaries will be home this summer, including Laura Stilwell and Andrea Petersen. They both arrive in INdy on June 30, and leave in early August.

Recent Events:
In early December, the ladies of Horizon Central gathered for a tea and bazaar to benefit the Servant Senders missionary ladies. We had the privilege of hearing Vi Goodrich, pastor’s wife of Horizon Northeast, share from God’s Word. Hannah and Abby Lyons shared their beautiful voices and musical talents with us.
The bazaar was filled with handmade items from ladies in our fellowship, and all of the proceeds went directly to the missionary ladies for a special Christmas blessing. Our five missionary ladies include Laura (Costa Rica), Andrea (Scotland), Karen (South Asia), Vanessa (Ukraine) and Rie (Japan).
It was fun to see the Lord multiply the “work of our hands” to bless others.

to Christ - in Christ - for Christ
I so enjoyed the studies I was able to attend. I’ve been using quite a few of the recipes, too. I’m sure my family is grateful for what I’ve learned! The fellowship was really fun, too. We really have some truly amazing women at our church! (and some I met from other churches!)
