Dear Ursula,
Thank you for your comment, and question. We are an inner-city church, and we are a rather motley group. There are some people of color, some hispanics, some punk rockers, some elderly, many kids, and lots in-between. We even have an African princess in our midst:) She is from Malawi.
Our desire is to be as motley and mixed-up as possible, b/c it gives us a taste of what heaven will be like.

In viewing your website, you seem like a loving and welcoming church body. I found you by accident while searching for homeschool information. Curious though, you are an inner-city church but do you have many people of color in your congregation? And if not, is that something that you are working towards?

I so enjoyed the studies I was able to attend. I’ve been using quite a few of the recipes, too. I’m sure my family is grateful for what I’ve learned! The fellowship was really fun, too. We really have some truly amazing women at our church! (and some I met from other churches!)

It’s good for me to be reminded of this—-I have certainly been guilty of neglecting my vineyard. I’m just thankful He gave us all the vineyard-tending instructions in His Word. (so we are without excuse!)

Cool, some of that reminds me of what we talked about in the discussion Saturday (the Titus 2 study). So relevant, so good for us to apply in our own families, be it our biological or church families.
